In case you have not noticed, there are loads of free events taking place this weekend across the City, as part of the Celebrate the City weekend.
Here's the lowdown:
On behalf of the City of London Corporation and the Diocese of London, we are delighted to invite you to Celebrate the City!
Together with the City’s greatest cultural institutions, we are staging a unique programme of events.
Over four very special days, visitors will discover a treasure trove of the City’s riches – from exhibitions which showcase our 2,000-year history, to the world-leading art, architecture and entertainment for which London is renowned.
This year, in which we celebrate the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games and the Diamond Jubilee – welcoming thousands more visitors to our City and nation – we have worked hard to ensure that the majority of events are free so that everyone can enjoy the fun.
We owe a great debt of thanks to all our partners and the City Bridge Trust for their generous support and contribution. Read on, explore and enjoy. We look forward to welcoming you to the City of London.
There are lots of free events from free entry to St Paul's Cathedral for kids to sundown champagne at the Tower Bridge walkways.
Many of the City's livery halls are open to all and the City's churches.
The full details are in this 4MB brochure and, if you're around the City this weekend, join in!
