I've been asked to blog something about Brazil for a while now ... not having been to Brazil for a while, that's been a challenge but I finally found something that really intrigued me.
For example, it's always nice to see innovative attempts to reach new
audiences and Brazilian bank, Banco Itau, are doing a lot of this.
First, there's their main website which has a specific area targetting students, as do so many other bank websites. But Banco Itau are different as they have also launched a nice litte website just for young people called "Essa Eu Banco", This is my Bank.
The site shows the day-to-day life of a boy and a girl, Daniel (20 years old) and Mariana (19).
Its aim is to demonstrate how Daniel and Mariana go about their everyday life and could save money through better management of their budgets for cellphone usage, purchasing of clothes and so on.
It's a cool site designed by Digital Agency Foreigner to attract the youthful audience it seeks.
Although not revolutionary, as several banks do cool stuff in this area, I think we'll see many more of financial microsites targeting microaudiences from mainstream banks.
